Itinerary
Our incredible holiday gets under way as we meet our fellow travellers and Tour Manager at London Heathrow this morning ready for our flight to India, changing in Doha, Qatar.
Our destination, Amritsar, is the centre of the Sikh religion, and it is believed the city was founded by Ram Das, the fourth Sikh guru, in the 16th century. Located in Punjab in the far northwest of India, between Pakistan and the Himalayan foothills, this is the ideal place to begin our exploration of India and Nepal. Brimming with spirituality, the vibrant city of Amritsar provides a great introduction to this mystical region as we embark on a discovery of India's ancient temples and sacred sites.

This was a really expensive itinerary and we truly experienced India and Nepal in all their glory. We maybe should have gone in Oct/Nov as the skies over the Himalayas are more likely to be clear but that’s not a fault of the tour itself.

Our adventure in India and Nepal was an experience we will never forget. Every day brought something new for us to enjoy -sights, sounds, tastes. It was a jam packed itinerary which allowed us to experience so many wonders of these amazing places and the best bit? It was all managed for us. We just turned up and enjoyed.
