Experience Japan with fiery maple leaves, crisp autumn air, and unforgettable experiences

Japan in Autumn

Autumn in Japan is a breathtaking season with striking landscapes, pleasant weather, and rich cultural experiences. The country transforms into a canvas of deep reds, warm oranges, and golden yellows as maple and ginkgo trees reach their peak. This natural spectacle, known as koyo (autumn leaves viewing), draws travellers from around the world.

The season offers an ideal climate for exploring Japan's diverse regions. Mild temperatures make sightseeing comfortable, whether you are strolling through Kyoto's historic temples, admiring the vibrant foliage of Mount Fuji, or wandering through Tokyo's stylish districts. With fewer crowds than the spring cherry blossom season, it is the perfect time to experience Japan's beauty at a relaxed pace. “Great country to visit. There wasn’t much to see in Sapporo or Fukuoka- these two cities could have been omitted and instead Osaka should have been included.A visit to a Japanese whiskey distillery would have been great.Food wise, being Vegetarian, we struggled a bit. Overall, GRJ did a great job!
